Madonna Split Settlement: He Gets £15m, She Keeps Talent

Sources inside a leading firm of showbiz divorce lawyers have revealed the early negotiations in the split between international megastar Madonna and bloke-who-once-directed-an-okay-film Guy Richie.

It appears his legal team have been studying clauses they failed to spot the significance of in the pre-nup agreement signed when the duo wed, which state that as Madonna was bringing all the talent into the marriage she'd take it all if they broke up.

Showbiz divorce lawyer, Sue Thacow said: "When the pair married he was probably still fresh off the back of that film he did, y'know whats-it-called, the one with that hard footballer. Anyway, he probably still thought he had a film career ahead of him, so didn't negotiate on this clause, but just focused on kids and cash."

That means that Richie will now get a £15m payout - which, worryingly, may be enough to fund a new film.
