Have A Go At Being A Hero

Everyone dreams of their moment in the spotlight, and what better way to gain it than becoming a hero - winning the adulation of the mass media and the admiration of friends and family.

Here at News42 we have our finger on the pulse of what the media is looking for in a hero, and after literally minutes of research I can bring you our top five ways:

1. Join the armed forces and die a bloody battlefield death on foreign soil while trying to save your buddy from an enemy ambush.

2. See a small child fall into rough seas and jump in to save their life - endangering yours in the process.

3.Intervene when you see a woman being attacked in a dark street at night and sustain serious injuries yourself

4. Run into a burning building to try to rescue anyone still trapped inside.

or

5. Hit a small ball with a stick more times than someone from another country can hit a small ball with a stick.

We've given the issue much thought here at News42 Towers, but on balance we had a strong preference to option 5. Thanks to the Great British media for giving us an option to become a hero that requires no personal danger or threat to life, is extremely well paid, and allows extensive travel to warm countries (the ones without wars).
