Economic Crisis Leads to Winehouse World Record

Over a month without Amy Winehouse in news

ARCHIVE: One important story about Winehouse was when she popped out to the newsagent and bought newspapers and bubblegum.

The media's panic about the world economic crisis has created a new world record, it has been confirmed today.

The Guinness Book of World Records officially announced that the mainstream UK media had gone a full month without any mention of alcoholic, and occaisional singer, Amy Winehouse.

Editor's appear to have been so wrapped up in dreaming up new ways to frighten people about their pensions/jobs/gasbills that they have completely forgotten to provide the running daily update about Amy's life - so the public has been left uninformed about her trips to the newsagents, any falling over incidents, and any dress or make-up mishaps.

And, as the newspapers haven't been reporting it, the BBC hasn't been reporting that the newspapers have been reporting it either.

Watch out for heads rolling at major newspapers as this gross oversight by editors is revealed.
